A nonprofit curriculum publisher and math platform on a mission to
At the core of our mission is a belief that an understanding and love of math is critical to creating a generation of engaged learners who can change the world. It is that simple. And that lofty. And it fuels our work to support teachers in making this happen.
Studies show that completing three Zearn Math lessons weekly alongside daily instruction leads to learning gains equivalent to 140 additional instructional days a year.
We believe all children should have access to a high-quality math education. As a nonprofit, our core instructional materials are available at no cost and we sustain our continually evolving work through philanthropy and selling products to support implementation.
Our work started in 2012 with one unit of digital math lessons. We now publish a complete K–5 math curriculum greenlit by EdReports that serves 1 in 4 kids nationwide. Throughout this journey, teachers have guided our work, and we continue to learn from their wisdom to better serve all kids.
We are a learning community of teachers, software developers, and designers passionate about ensuring that Zearn Math is and remains the most rigorous, supportive, and engaging math learning and teaching experience available.
We are committed to sharing new findings from our own research and from the teachers and administrators we work with across the country.
