A case study analysis of teachers using Zearn Math Curriculum Study Professional Development found the majority of teachers substantially improved their Pedagogical Content Knowledge, an important indicator of a teachers’ ability to teach mathematics. Teachers found that Curriculum Study PD improved their understanding of the progression of each big idea in Zearn Math, as well as supporting teacher-to-teacher collaboration.
